Pond

I have several fish ponds and love observing the relationships in nature. The goldfish and water lillie images are from my backyard while the Great Egret image is from a photo expedition to Gatorland in Orlando, FL. http://www.gatorland.com is a fabulous place to shoot closeup bird images in a rookery. I remember visiting there with my family at the age of 9.

This is a recent work, using torn tissue, printed images, water color paper embedded with leaves, water colors and acrylic paints. I am continuing to explore possibilities of mixed media.
